Greg is currently completing post-graduate studies in Psychology at Griffith University. He loves getting involved in whatever is going on and finds or creates fun wherever he goes. He enjoys yoga, scuba diving and flying planes, however his greatest passion is travelling the world– he has been to over seventy countries and loves bringing a sense of adventure and passion for exploration into the lives of others.
Xavier is of French African descent. Having completed a two-year professional diploma of Social Health in France (specialising in caring), Xavier has been in Australia fifteen years where he has had an enriching personal journey. As a survivor of Hodgkin lymphoma, he has embarked on a rich and creative life that sees him organising festivals, DJing and running African drumming workshops, as well pursuing hobbies such as paragliding and brings this enthusiasm to those around him.
Originally from a New Zealand, Yivan has many years’ experience as a support worker. She is also completing Psychology studies at Griffith University. She has a background in creative arts and has produced a short film and a children’s album. She is an avid traveller and musician as well as a proud Māori who enjoys sharing cultural experiences with others.
Jacob as worked with a diverse number of clients within the disability sector, as well as being enrolled in a Bachelor of Nursing. He is also a professional musician and one of his favourite places to be is on the drums on stage at regular gigs around the Gold Coast.
After decade of an illustrious career in dancing on the international performance circuit, Scott is now well qualified across the mental health and community services sectors. Other than support work, he is a key figure in the St John’s Crisis Centre in Surfers Paradise, where he advocates for the homeless and other people in need.
